Guard Your Mind
There is a vast amount of information regarding the working of the human brain and thought patterns, especially in the areas of psychology and science however, this book is not about psychology or any behavioural disorders. This book is to enlighten the reader on Biblical principles of ‘Guarding Your Mind’ and to assist the reader how to change one’s mind in right standing with God, which leads to an abundant life in Christ.
Proverbs 4:23 “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” Or death…
In order for the reader to be able to change his/her ways of thinking, we need to know the basic working of the neuro-system and how the brain functions. We need to understand the importance of the impact our thoughts have on our life and circumstances.
Your Mind is such a powerful tool and if you steer and manage it correctly, you will be amazed at what you could accomplish. As Scripture has it ‘nothing will be impossible…’
Matthew 17:20 “…For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Mark 11:24 “Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive [them], and you shall have [them].”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me…”
Do you find yourself thinking one or more of the following thoughts? I am unsuccessful
- I am struggling with my finances
- I am unsatisfied with my life and the course it is taking
- My marriage/relationship is not in a good place
- I worry and stress about everything
- I do not have time for anything
- My health is deteriorating
- Why do all the bad and negative things happen to me?
- I am just not in a good place
Where you are today is a function of your mind. You are the expression of all that is in your mind and the workings of your mind. That is who you are, your personality is the expression of your mind. If you don’t like it, you have the ability to change it.
God’s purpose for you is that you might have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (John 10:10).
Once you understand the basic principles of thinking and accepting the thoughts you think, you will learn how to change and guard your thoughts in such a manner that your life will experience the results thereof in every aspect of your being.
Your Mind attracts information through your five senses every second of the day, and what you do with that information determines the result or outcome. Do you wish for the result or outcome to benefit you in a positive way? Well, then it is time for you to ‘make up your mind’!
Someone once said: “Any person, who is sincere with himself, can reach any heights he desires.”
The success, happiness, joy, peace, harmony, health, and all that you desire, lies within your own hands. It is strange how unhappy or unsatisfied people, will always have excuses why things cannot be done and why they are not capable of reaching their goals, dreams or desires.
God made us to be:
- Prosperous
- More than conquerors
- Able to do all things
- Brilliant in everything we put our minds to
- Able to think, reason and decide
- Able to believe in our possibilities
- Of the same mind as Christ
There is absolutely no excuse why you cannot have the life you desire. We read in Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinketh so will it be.”
Thus, the power to change lies within your own thoughts. Once you put your mind to it and believe it, you will conquer it. Your thoughts will manifest on the outer.
This is a short and easy to read book, but with powerful information that will help you to totally change your life to what you desire it to be.
I AM : The Truth, The Way and The Life
Scripture has it that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, is within us. We have the power to create, we have the power to change the shape of our world, and we have the power to live in the abundance and freedom that Jesus Christ promised us. Our tomorrow, our future and our destiny are within our own hands – life and death lies within our own words. As a man thinketh, so shall he be!
This book is intended to write down, everything that Father shows me. To write down the mysteries that were hidden for ages and generations, and to bring that knowledge to all who have the desire to know Him more and to move into a deeper and higher spiritual realm.
Open your heart and your mind and let Holy Spirit be your guide and lead you into the Truth. There is only one Truth and that Truth is Christ in us, the hope of glory, and when He appears, we will appear with Him in the splendour of His glory – and every eye will see Him! Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord and King. CHRIST IS MY LIFE – WITHOUT HIM I AM NOTHING!
You will notice as you read through this book that there is a repetition of phrases and scripture, specifically to draw your attention to these truths. The more you hear the truth, the more your heart and mind will be transformed. By the end of the book, the reader will be able to remember these scriptural references and the truths it holds.
I believe you will agree with me if I say that it is better to fill your mind with scriptural truths rather than false worldly garbage which results in calamities and death. I do not say that you have to agree with everything I wrote in this book; therefore, my plea is that you allow Holy Spirit to guide you. You will know and realize the truth for yourself as you open your mind and heart to Christ. This is a path and journey only you can take.
May the content of the book awaken the desire within each reader to know the Truth – Jesus Christ. May your inward journey lead you into a deeper understanding of Father God and His continuous presence in your life. May this book enrich your life as it did for me? Holy Spirit is you guide.
